Over the boating season, F/V Sea Keeper ranges the Gulf of Maine.  Charter packages are tailored to go where the best opportunities can be found; clients may meet the boat at one of several ports-of-call.  Typically, deep-sea fishing trips will depart from of Sea Keeper’s home port, Camp Ellis, Maine on the Saco River.  Custom whale-watch adventures to Stellwagen Bank will originate in Gloucester or Scituate, Massachusetts.  All other nature excursions and Maine island exploration will most likely begin from either Portland, Booth Bay or Rockland, Maine.

Island Excursion Special

$80/per hour, 2-hr minimum  Vinalhaven, North Haven and beyond!

* Day Trips *  A typical day-long excursion will require eight to eleven hours, dock-to-dock.   F/V Sea Keeper will accommodate parties of up to six people (maximum number of adults and children combined) on a single-day trip.  The basic day-rate is $950 for the party.   We have plenty of hot coffee and bottled water on board but please bring your lunch, snacks and beverages.  

* Two Days/One Night *  A two-day excursion with an overnight sleepover offers a more leisurely pace for nature viewing or visiting Maine island communities.  The two-day package price for parties of up to four people (maximum), including continental breakfast, is $1700.  Meals are additional charge of $60 per person (two light lunches, gourmet dinner and beverages) – let us do the provisioning and cooking.

* Three Days/Two Nights *  Our preferred package plan offers time to reach and explore some very special places.  We can pack a lot into three days!  This package price of $2400 for a party of up to four people (maximum) includes continental breakfast in the mornings.  Clients will have the option of dining ashore one evening at a port-of-call.  For the remainder of meals, a charge of $85 per person (three lunches, a gourmet dinner and beverages) for the three-day trip – we will do the provisioning and cooking.

* Catch-the-Boat *  Are you an adventurous individual but on a budget?  Did you ever want to be a “stowaway”!?  F/V Sea Keeper often has a day (or more) of travel-time between ports and charter contracts.  There’s plenty of room aboard – catch-the-boat for $200 per day and be ready to go to wherever we end up.  We will see some sights along the way – guaranteed.   Just bring your own sleeping bag and snacks.  Keep an eye on the seakeeper.org website for a schedule of catch-the-boat opportunities.
